Huge and I mean HUGE lost opportunity there. Sherzer was wild, those sliders were not strikes, and you get nothing. Terrible at bat by Napoli there. Hope he can adjust.

    [/QUOTE]

Those sliders were nasty and weren't meant to be strikes but look like one, those were great pitches actually. Naps just thought fastball all the way for some reason and hacked away, at least he hit it hard. But yeah, we really need to score with RISP

Better than swinging and missing, like in games 1 and 2.

Peralta likes the ball up...Buch is trying to get him to chase above the zone..just can't miss in the zone up

That was a strike.  Salty framed it poorly

Well I argue that Verlanders slider is a tad better than Max's. He adjusted. Just hate to see him let tht opportunity go to waste.

Lucky strike call.  Would have been ball 4.

Pedey is a gamer, almost had that catch.  Would have caught it if he was a couple of inches taller.

3-2, great piece of hitting there. No doing to much, how come the sox cant do that? Instead of watching strike 3?

Was thinking the same.  Instead of swinging to the fences all the time, just get the ball in play and advancing the runner.

Better inning by Bucholz.  Now score some runs against Scherzer...

Time to score some runs or rack up that pitch count for Scherzer!
