Home field advantage should go to the team with the best record and not to the league that wins the All-Star game.

Anyway, I hope the AL wins and I would like to see Mariano Rivera come in the 9th and get a save.  I hate the Yankees, but I highly admire and respect Mariano Rivera!   Laughing

The cut fastball should be called the "Mariano Rivera" pitch.   Cool

I missed the game but see Ortiz went 0 for 2.   Just a small sample size but looks like he still has issues with the Elite pitchers.

    Give it up...

    You're wandering into "pathetic' territory.

    Wrong again.

I don't have to post anything about Ortiz.

    His numbers speak for themselves.

He's well into pathetic territory with Ortiz, but he's also clueless.  Here are Ortiz' career numbers vs. 5 of the top pitchers in the American League:

    J. Verlander - 10 for 27 - .370

    M. Scherzer - 7 for 13 - .539

    J. Weaver - 10 for 32 - .313

    F. Hernandez - 9 for 29 - .310

    M. Rivera - 10 for 28 - .357

Yeah, he reeeeeaaaalllly has "issues" with elite pitchers...Give it up, Jackbu
