I was trying to remember if the Yaz poster looked better on my wall than the Tommy Harper one, but I was going to vote for Luis Tiant before being disapointed, once again, opening another selfaggrandizing thread started by the resident clown.

Bill and "Dad" can drive up to the carolinas, pick up softy and head to a Greenville Drive game then shoot up to Lewisgale Field in Salem, VA to catch a game.

We'll cover AA and AAA, those guys can handle single A ball.

Thats actually a fun time Ice Cream. Seabeachfred and I have met, but I have not met anyone else in person who posts here regularly. There was a Celtics board on which I posted for a while and about a dozen of us met up in San Francisco to catch a game at a sports bar and it was interesting to put faces on the screen names. Not surprisingly there was none of the personal stuff that goes on when people can hide behind the veil of the internet. You guys should do it!

    In response to softlaw2's comment:

Bill, I sincerely don't understand why other posters get so upset with our venerable comments on Red Sox baseball. I truly don't. Dad always said that envy is man's greatest character flaw. It would explain the collectivists demonizing the descendants of American aristrocracy, while raving about the descendants of the lower economic classes. Dad always said to beward of those with a big chip on their shoulder. Dad was right.

It is not your comments I for one may agree from time to time. The issues is the redundancy and your ability to disappear when confronted with facts that go against your theories as well as not answering direct questions at times.
