    Anemic

This RS "offense" is to say the least is anemic.  Sit Ortiz down and fine him for lack of any hustle.  Hey coach stop switching people in and out of the lineup it consistency killer.

so if you don't win a championship every year you pack up your toys and go home?

Team has won three rings in a decade, most in MLB. Bruins haven't done that.

Here's a newflash: this year is a bridge year, developing younger players like JBJ and Bogaerts is a big part of what needs to happen.

Luchinno is taking all the credit for last year, he deserves the blame for going cheap this year and sleeping during the Winter Meetings when we needed a hitter. Great Job Larry !

I don't see how he went cheap..... maybe we should have signed Cano? Is that what you are advocating? McCann was the only true goodie out there and if we signed him that would be the end of the road for our catching prosp sects... Fine by me... I love McCann.

But tell us exactly how they went cheap? And how much money on expensive MLB free agents like Elles, Cano, and others need be spent to satisfy you?

There is no guarantee on prospects as you are seeing with Bradley who cannot hit and Baeggerts who is shakey with the glove. What makes you feel this prospect at Pawtucket is going to be the second coming of Carlton Fisk. Rookies are a lot cheaper than free agents. All they picked up this year was Sizemore who is starting to struggle. We needed a bonafide hitter and needed to make a trade and did not. Everything came together for this team last year. Not this year.

Well I think letting ells go and not replacing him with someone who could replace his production is the cheapness he is referring to. Most of us did not want to see ells go but made peace with it based on the contingency of the FO picking up someone who could replace his production. All the FO did was play the grady sizemore lottery and while sizemore has stayed healthy, he is struggling at the plate and is not producing. LF is a big offensive spot for the sox. (think manny, bay etc) Sizemore has given us little to no offence and not found a spot in the line up. I think we all hoped he would emerge as our leadoff hitter, but unfortunately he is not hitting to the point where thats not even an option at this point. When you let a player like ellsbury walk you better have a damn good plan b. Sizemore should have been plan c.

Sizemore...Maybe just a 4th outfielder at best . Retirement twins behind home plate. Cant hit JBJ ,but great D!!  Another weak bat.... Team is very slow and right now no place to go. Will be fun to see what moves are coming.

I just wish Farrell would stick to a lineup for at least three days in a row.  It's different everyday and the kids (except JBJ) and Sizemore keep getting moved around.

Much of the line-up fluctuation was due to not having Victorino and Middlebrooks.  Since Victorino has been back, it's been pretty steady and will probably continue to be from here on out so long as people are healthy.  1-4 and 9 are pretty set.  Gomes and Sizmore will platoon in the 5 hole; 6-8 will move a little depending on whether it's AJ or Ross behind the plate.  Pierzynski will catch 4-5 times a week, Ross 2.

For anyone wanting McCann. Have you seen his numbers so far? A.J. has been much better offensively.
