Mets GM, Sandy Alderson reports that they aren't commiting to any position for for than one year except closer.

I guess it depends on the deal. Pagan is a big injury risk, has trouble staying on the field.

Pagan was arguably the worst OF in baseball last year. The Mets, with 3 OF positions open (CF, RF and 4th OF) wont even offer this guy a chance, and they know him better than any other team.
