    Re: Angels to sign PUJOLS!!!!!!!!

I never thought Pujols would leave St. Louis.  It just goes to show that it always is about the money.  Players have to have as much as they can get out of teams regardless of what it does to the fans of the team they leave and to the payroll flexibility of the team they join.  How much is enough Albert? Do you have to provide for your great, great, great, great, great, great, great grandkids?

This deal rises near the level of Crawford in terms of one of the worst value contracts in MLB history.

This would be a good time to trade Ellsbury to the Cardinals.  I'll take Wainwright, Jay and Shelby Miller.

Cards only were going to offer $210 million.  How do you expect anyone to feed their family on that chicken feed?

Cant wait to hear the whiny butt Cardinals fans. This will toss a wet blanket on their little pixie dust WS. Ridiculous, should never have happened. Only thing that worries me is that they have 220M to spend on pitching and etc. instead of an aging and beginning to slip Pujols. He's still great, but his skills are already diminishing, who knows what he will be in ten years. Bad contract.
