    any word on clays blister?

    clay has a blister on his finger and i wonder how it is.i will be at the game
    saturday and i do not want to watch wake pitch he will not throw two
    great games in a row.if any of you hear let me know.

    I think being weak from intestinal issues were more problematic.
    He gutted it out. He was on fumes after the 5th.

    Clay had a stomach bug ... I don't know about anybody else, but after losing it from both ends I am not much of a major league pitcher for a few days :)

    Yeah I also heard Ellsbury is mad because he has a sore knee that will sideline him for 3 months and no one gave him one. Too bad now he has an ouee.

    It was certainly a combination of the 2, but the blister explains why he wasn't throwing his curve like he normally does, which in turn explains the low K count.
