    April Fool's... Sox Lose

Man, was I mad when I found out the Sox actually lost to the Yankees today 7-0. The real opening day was played in front of friends and family at 4:30 am at Yankee Stadium. CC Sabathia went the distance, allowing just one hit, an Iggy single up the middle in the sixth. Kevin Youkilis homered twice and drove in five runs against his ex-mates. John Lester was off his game from the start allowing 7 runs on 13 hits. He promises in his next start he will throw left-handed. After the loss, the Sox and Yankees played an exhibition game to benefit Newtown Ct victims, the Sox "won" that game, 8-2. The "double-header" was part of a country wide celebration of April Fool's day when companies like Google, Twitter, and Netflix pull a big con job on their customers. The PR departments of both teams were grinning ear to ear with their successful duping of baseball starved fans, in a joint statement the teams reminded the fans to "get a grip, dudes, there are still 161 more games to play."

    LOL!

Wakefield has been called back up, from the Burger King minor league team.

Can't they make this legend the pitching coach?
