    Arod's Surgery

Why is Arod waiting to mid January to have hip surgery?

Could it be the yankees are in no hurry to get him back.

I read somewhere that it is because he needed some time to strengthen the hip first.  I guess this surgery is more complex than the one he had in 2009.

    He's strengthening the hip for surgery.From hardballtalk.com:

    http://hardballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/12/08/alex-rodriguez-says-hell-have-hip-surgery-in-mid-january/

According to the Associated Press, Rodriguez said this morning that he will have the surgery in “mid-January.” A-Rod made the comment at a breakfast he hosted for about 150 high school players who are competing in his annual Miami tournament. The question was actually asked by one of the players. The reason for the delay is that Rodriguez is trying to build up strength in the area prior to going under the knife.

    he needs to pre-hab

things must heal B4 they can cut him

then again, U might be onto something

some say arod's insurance payoff is 70%

so why not find some quack to rush the operation

say oops and end his career

still not sure if I want youk or not

I'll probably wait till he decides

    B4 I decide ;-)

            Hi Zac,

It just seemed to me this should have been addressed a couple months ago.

As for Youk in pinstripes, Yanks could do worse.

With there payroll restrictions I'am a little surprised Nunez isn't being considered.
