    At the break...

    ....both the Sox and the A's were 43 and 43. Since then, the Sox are 13th at 20 and 35, while the A's are the league's best at 37-17.
    Even Seattle, who was dead last at 36 and 51 at the break, are 8 games above .500 after.
    Yes, it has been the pitching. No doubt about it.
    Our SP is simply horrid!

    It's an indication that, no matter how bad things seem, Valentine can make them worse.
