Dubront is never going to be much of a pitcher if he can't get through 5 with less than 100 pitches.  He does this way too much.

Crawford's been pretty good lately, Going home (NH) for 10 days; this means I have to hide my NYY cap; literally. I once had a plumber refuse to service me unless I removed my cap on a dresser, in plain view of where he was working. Of course I obliged.

Good job by Miller limiting the damage.

Given the new D talent, & Belichick's mad scientist tinkering, the D could be vastly improved this yr.

Looks like Dubrant is taking lessons from the double J's - as soon as we get a lead, cought it up like a green-slime loogie.  The best thing about the Sox' season thus far:  the Pats' pre-season has started and the regular season is about a month away.  Oh well, can't expect more of Dubrant than your supposed "aces."

Halftime at Foxborough. 3-0 Saints. Brady played half of the first quarter. Not much happening on offense for either team.

I always wonder how someone from New Hampshire could wind up a Yankees fan. That's deep Carlton Fisk territory. Did you have family from New York?

This team absolutely stinks. They are not mediocre any more; they stink.

To be honest, it might be best if they lose as many games as possible for the rest of the season. Perhaps through that kind of abject failure meaningful change can occur. The fans will demand it.

How did that strategy work out for ML Carr?

And yet the score is still 4 - 3. I'd almost think the Red Sox are still in this game.

I can't root for the Red Sox to lose, any more than I can root for the Yankees to win. No way, no how

Not going to make any kind of run, even when Ortiz comes back, with one starting pitcher.

The fans have demanded change as far back as November 2011, the FO is too arrogant and block-headed to think we would not accept a losing season if it was based on change. Instead we get a loosing season based on little to no change.
