    Another tactical mistake by Valentine. He should have pinch hit for Salty there. He hasn't even been able to make contact lately, let alone get on base.

    I'm not a Salty basher but he now has 101 K's in just under 300 AB's. I knew he had been whiffing a lot but that is really bad.

    It's all about the baseball now. At least we haven't lost the season series to the Yanks yet. Maybe Ben will be bold and put Bradley and Bogaerts in Pawtucket for the rest of the year now.

    If they are going to lose consistently then it would be more fun to see the kids up trying hard to win. I would also like to see some of the pitchers come up and start some games.

    Were you paying attentin, Bobby? That was a bunt; spelled b-u-n-t. Otherwise known as a sacrifice. It's oftern done when a man is on sewconf with no outs. If your guys can't do this simple thing, either teach them or get one of you coaches to teach them how this is down. They probably learned how it is done back in Little League, and have forgotteb how it's accomplished.

    Zach Stewart looks good right now. We don't have much pitching above A ball presently though.
