    81 qualifying starting pitchers this year:

    81st in xFIP at 4.55

    77th in WAR at 1.1

    70th in WHIP at 1.39 (actually better than Dempster 77 and Doubront 76)

    If only he didn't give up so many homeruns he might be attractive.

    Isn't he signed for 8 mil the next two years?  Could be a cheaper replacement if we unload Dempster.   I know that won't be easy however.

    My question is would left field in Boston reduce or increace his home run total.?
