INNING ......  My eyes couldn't believe it when a ball went up the middle 3 feet to the LEFT of 2nd base  (SS SIDE) ........  Not to mention that FAT 3-0 pitch by ACEVES for the 1st run ( H R) .....  I can see it now, when PAPI comes back, the government will tell us we can't run anymore !!!     What say you, all you T-BALLERS ???

    How can Ortiz come back?

    Isn't he "done"?

why no thread when Drew made an outstanding play his first night? He got to a ball in the hole to his right, then able to make a great throw to 2nd to end an inning and saving a run...Hes better than some of you think...

Yeah, it's going to be a shame that when Ortiz comes back and Bradley goes down, the team will stop running because as we all know, Bradley has been killing teams with his baserunning.

David Ortiz stats for last year: .318/1.026. Sounds washed up to me. How about you Bill?

I wonder what the #'s were after the injury ??????

I would rather look at the body of work he DID than the body of work he didn't do. Based on what he DID, is he washed up?

Im looking at the same body, and it looks to me that "this body" is done !!!

He's going to be back soon Bill. I guess if your position is that he is going to be injured all year you can justify what you think. I do not believe he is going to be on the DL all year...part of it, yes, but most of the time he will be out there, just like nearly every year he has been with us.
