Welp, no good luck tonight, hoping for better tommorow night. But, I have to admit, Im not sanguine about the Reds simply because they cant hit the little white thing with the red stitches. We shall see at 9:37 pm tommorow night. Have a great evening all!

Was that the end of the Rangers short-lived mini-almost-dynasty...

Maybe, but they had their big chance last year and blew/upchucked/ghacked it big time against the stupid Cardinals. I will always hold that against them to a certain degree. No excuse for it. Now they will go home again. Cant win the big one.

Last year was their chance, and maybe register as their best chance for the next 50 years... like the Sox in 1986 it can be a long-azz time before you get that close again

So much for being in first place for almost six months straight.

The Rangers had a five-game lead over the A's with nine to go.

    And now,..........their season is over.

The real Collapsers turned out to be the Rangers not the Yanks...And I am still scratching my head...

Blowing a five-game lead with nine to go is bad.  I think the 1987 Blue Jays and 2007 Mets had a similar collapse.

Once a team collapses like the Rangers did last year, they dont usually recover. See also: "2012 Red Sox". Its all over for Texas, they will have to rebuild to get back now.
