I've done a lot of research on this, and the answer was right in front of me all the time. It really seems inevitable:
4 x 2 -1 = 7
7 x 2 -1 = 13
Basically, it's four almost doubled and 7 almost doubled. I think we can all come to the conclusion it's just predestined. What's meant to be will be.
And 13 x 2 - 1 = 25
Does that mean that the next season the Red Sox win the World Series after this one will be in 2025? I'd be thrilled with a WS championship this season, but I would hope that I wouldn't have to wait until 2025 for the next one. If this formula holds, then I pity future generations of Red Sox fans who will wait at longer and longer intervals to see their team win a World Series.
25 X 2 - 1 = 49
49 X 2 - 1 = 97
97 X 2 - 1 = 194 (How will the three digits apply? Maybe a new messiah will arrive and a new calendar will be used.)
Kimmy, are you sure you did a lot research on this? Seems like you either didn't think this one through, or you didn't count on a wiseass response like this one.
Don't confuse me with the facts. My math is flawless, and hard to argue with. I didn't mention anything about the future. I'm just looking at what is happening in the present. Get with the program, Sheriff. It's pretty obvious there's no doubting the results of my research.
