    Bay Back to Boston?

Funnier things have happend.  Bay loved it in Boston. Mets eat some of his contract, Sox give few prospects? Bay bats right and can play right.

    Thought?

Nope.  With basically an all-lefty outfield, the Sox have prospered.  Best run scoring machine in all of baseball and the best record in the AL.  They are playoff bound.  Plus Bay can't play right field because he doesn't have the arm.

Not going to happen.  The Mets can only be desperately hoping that Bay regains some semblance of his former ability.  Right now it's a horror show.  He is striking about as much fear into opposing pitchers as J D Drew is.  The Mets would have to eat a huge chunk of the remaining contract to raise anyone's interest.

So is there a player in all of MLB now who hasn't been mentioned as a possible additon to our team?

Can't see it.  If Crawford could play right, which I don't believe he ever has, maybe it could work.  But I don't see Crawford moving and Reddick is making a case to get more not less playing time.

Let the Mets suffer with Bay, they were stupid enough to overpay him.

They were also stupid enought to invest with Bernie Madoff.

They had an idea of what they were doing in 1986, but since then this team has constantly made horrible decisions.

Now they want to dump their overpaid duds on other teams and get good prospects?. That's hilarious.

I would trade Reddick straight up for a RF that bats right handed and makes the same amount as Reddick.  It would be better if Reddick was hit RH, but not a necessity.

You bozos just don't see the lack of power in that outfield. They have less production than any startiing OF in MLB.
Who in his right mind thinks Reddick is going to remotely keep this up?
I love JBay, but he's not the answer, and is no longer a fit.
Crawford does not have a RF arm, to move him there.

Why?  In his brief MLB career, Reddick has a 1.140 OPS against LHP's.  Admittedly, it's a small sample size (28 PA's), but he hasn't shown anything to suggest he's weaker against LHP's.

Yeah, let's just drive Reddick to the Hall of Fame right now.
Amazingly shortsighteness, sucked in by a 1/5 th of a season.
