He has too much $$ left and the Mets are going to act for a lot.

    Reddick, Doubront, etc.

Yeah right softy. Take a guy that's batting .310 out of the lineup. Your pinstripes are showing through.

"Beltran is hitting .226 vs. LHP this season.  Is he really a solution if you want a right-handed bat?"

I love when people pick one stat to prove a point. Yes...he is hitting 226 against lefties this year in 84 AB's....he also has hit 7 hrs against lefties in those 84 AB's and lifetime is a .291 hitter against lefties with an 886 OPS as opposed to .279 and .842 against righties.....so yes I would be fine as a Right handed bat....

[QUOTE]Theo should go hard after Kemp. The Dodgers are vulnerable right now and any reasonable offer to cut their payroll would likely be taken seriously. You can be sure there are other teams that will pursue him.

MLB will not permit the Dodgers to trade Kemp.

[QUOTE]Well, if WEEI said it, then it must be true. Yeah, right. I'd rather see the Sox take a run at Hunter Pence. He's younger, less injury prone, and in his prime. Also less expensive, and under control for two more years.

and thats the exact reason Houston will probably keep him..Unless they get an offer they cant refuse..I doubt it will be from the sox..
