and ps, trading ellsbury for soemthing we can use like starting pitching, or anyting else valuable, would help the team. he's not going to sign here.

First of all, Ben C did asked around to see what they can get for Ellsbury, but Ben C. find that there is nothing out there.  You are not going to just trade Ellsbury for a couple cheap less talent ball players whether he is a pitcher or not.   Boston rather to get a top starting rotation pitcher in return.

But we all knew that these teams are not going to part away.  Seattle stated they will never trade Felix, Cincinnati will never trade Chapman, Cueto, etc. , Tampa isnt going to trade Shield within the same division, etc.

Best shot that Boston can get is the bottom of the rotation pitcher who is being over-paid or stunk like Jurrjen of Braves!!!  Forget it, that isnt going to help Boston.

Nothing wrong that we hear rumor whether this guy from Boston is going to be trade or not.  As long Boston try to get someone better in return.

In saying they have no intent to trade him means nothing. I worked at Wang and one day they stated there are no layoffs planned at THIS time. Two weeks later they had a layoff. They were not planned at this time but we'rere planned for two weeks later.

Nointent means with the right offer their intent will change.

Also yes they have askEd but to say there is nothing out there is incorrect, unless you are involved. See the Phil's and several other teams need a CF thus anything could happen. The RS have extra catching and Jake so I'm sure they have had offers it will take time. As ST comes closer and more FAs are signed teams will be more willing to make trades and give up a little more.
