The Sox currently have five of the top 12 OPS's in the AL, which is pretty amazing.  AGon, Youk, Ortiz, Ellsbury, and Pedroia.  Those five also lead the Sox in runs and rbi's. 

Two points about the above:  1) as good as Ellsbury and Gonzalez are, it's clear there are other very good hitters in the lineup; 2) as good as the big five are, it's also clear that on some days it's good to have other guys (Salty/Tek, Reddick, Crawford, even Scutaro) who contribute.
