    Brad Ausmuss

    This would be a great hire. He would help Salty and Lavarnway further develop there skills and would have great advantage on working and developing our young core of pitchers.

    Varitek can help both Lavarnway and Salty get better. You do not want a manager doing that. They need a manager who can work with all of the players.

    When I look for a manager I'd look at successful teeams and their bench coaches.

    My pick would be Tony Pena. Just like Zimmer helped Torre I believe Pena has been instrumental in the NYY success under Giradi.
