I don't think he and Shoppach are going to hang out a whole lot.

Very cool! This might actually get Mrs. Dobler interested because she is also a proud Eli.

My Gf went to college with Mortensen at Gonzaga..  I probably should have put up a disclaimer when I put up my Mortensen over Melancon thread.

Mrs. Dobler knew Theo at Yale, though not well enough to get me free tickets. She also lived on the same hall as a guy who became a bit actor and who is best known for marrying Emily Mortimer. (His name escapes me, though I do think Emily Mortimer is pretty awesome).

Apparently her only flaw is being a poor decision maker.

OK, that's enough harmless abuse from me...

A degree in molecular biophysics AND biochemistry...incredible.

I think he'll do well... but if he doesn't, I'll still be impressed!

Molecular biophysics is a "federal social engineering glass bubble"?....just kidding.

    Whatever....

All I do know is that anyone who has a double major in molecular biophysics and biochemistry is certainly on a different level.

If you yet haven't, take an organic chemistry class sometime...just for fun.

Then again most Ivy schools do not even offer loans any more. It's all grants and scholarships at Princeton and Harvard. My kid graduated with ZERO loans and I think he made an excellent decision. At most other schools he would have been looking at $10's of thousands of debt. And with a high quality education to boot. Not one of your brighter posts softy.

How can Breslow be the smartest man in baseball when Bobby V alread has that distinction?

Or is it just Bobby who thinks that?  :-)
