    Breslow observations

i was watching the NESn Fenway Christmas special SAT afternoon (whatever the heck that was) and came away very impressed by breslow...he was interviewed by Remy I believe and he was articulate and determined to make a difference not only on the mound but also in the dugout as a veteran leader...he said thats where he was at this point in his career and looked forward to that role...i think i know where ben is taking this club with guys like Breslow and Gomes....im not a fan of any one inning "specialist" but im wondering if that trade for Matt Albers was as much about culture as it was relief work.....

I always liked him when I saw him back in 2006, real gentleman, true professional.

Great pickup.  1.5 yrs of Breslow was an underrated add.

A LHP that does well against RH and LHH...Good veteran presence to have around and a solid reliever too...

    Re: Breslow observations

Breslow is a very intelligent guy and a pretty good pitcher.  I got the feeling that there were some issues with Albers.
