My prediction for John Lackey,
12-10 with an ERA of around 4.35

I go with that. Either that or he wins 16 games but has an era of 5+.
Good morning EnchiladaT :)
Lackey better perform well in 2013. After all, he is the highest paid Red Sox.

Wow, highest paid? I did not know that. Yikes. Have a good day Ice-Cream

It's nearly impossible to project what Lackey will do in 2013. We don't really know how good he would have been in 2011 had he not pitched injured all year. Was his decline in 2009 and 2010 injury related as well? Not knowing the answers to these questions makes predicting Lackey's 2013 a coin toss at best.
I hope he does well. If I had to guess, I'd say he does about the same or slightly better than 2010...
14-11 4.40 1.42

man kimsaysthis you are whacked and tiresome
Riiiiight. And it's completley over your head that a poster who apparently wanted to protect his age and his information gave it freely as a 20-year-old using his "father's" account. All the while having a profile that said 34. Looks more to me like someone who forgot he said he was 34. But don't worry. That's not whacked.
He also said his name was Michael. I even responded to his post asking if his name was really Michael. Some things are just common sense.

Is it Rusty REF429, Michael MEF429, or Joey JEF429?? Is he a Marlins fan? Tune in tomorrow for the answer.

Any thoughts on baseball pike?
How are you holding up in the freezing temps, carnie, after all those years on the left coast?

It's been damn cold up here this week, that's for sure.
Colder than usual in CT, too. Should warm up to normal temps next week. Hang in there. Hard to beat Maine, in the summer.

Everyone here could summarize their opinions on what Ben Cherrington has done during hotstove in five or six paragraphs. I have done that but it is diffused over different posts at the time of each signing / trade. Once that synopsis of your opinion is done then that is it unless you wish to rehash it daily and argue with others or insist that your opinion is better than opinions of others. Coming here for conflict is not "discussing baseball", it is debate, argument, trolling, enabling, and destructive. Softlaw, Georom, Zac, Babe, and Yazzer do not come here to discuss baseball - no they come here to stir the pot of conflict. They and those that take the bait come here for entertainment and not to discuss baseball. List what Ben has done right or wrong once. Don't repeat it daily. Come here to post information or receive information.

Did I just violate a forum rule? Be specific, please.
But, per your repeated and very pointed assertions, this is a baseball forum. A good guideline is to talk baseball.
You violate that guideline every day, many times a day.

Hoping Lackey bombs big time so someone else, like de la Rosa or Morales, gets a shot at starting. Even if Lackey does "well," say mid 4s era and a .500 or just above record, I'd much rather hand the ball to someone has a shot of being really good, with an era in the 3s and two to one on w-l. Lackey's a mediocre pitcher at best and a total loser at worst, and his personality, w/the showing up of fielders, is detrimental to team cohesion.
