    But he was a catcher dude (that is why he was only in 114 games)! Oh wait was there a DH in the AL? Surely his hot bat could have DH'd? Napoli sucks.... just don't tell drewski

    If Boston is looking for a full time first basemen, Laroche is a much better fit than Napoli. He would cost a draft pick but I think he would be worth it as an upgrade over Napoli defensively and because they need another left handed bat. I like Napoli in the C/DH/ part time 1B role, not as the primary 1B.

    Softys a loon, but if the Sox can duck out, I agree.  I really am hoping for more 'bridge work' in 2013.  If the Sox get another top 10 draft pick at the end on the 2013 season, I can live with that...as long as they didn't throwa boatload of future money down the toilet for the 'supporting cast'.
