Why not go with Timmy, game tied 1-1? Why go with Oki? I thought Tito didn't have any trust in Oki?

Look, Timmy's old, but that fat man can still make that pitch dance and create havoc for the Red Sox.

softlaw nice to see you back - in your absence there was another poster named BaseballGM and he tried to copy your un-copiable style.

Timmy's a gamer, and he always has been. He even closed for the Sox one season.  Memory fails me, but I think it might have been '96. I know in my heart he will never do it, but nothing would please me more than to see Tim Wakefield eclipse Clemens' career victory mark for the sox. Unless it's seeing Jon Lester do it 10 years from now.

Congrats Timmy the ultimate team guy, baseball teams don't win without unselfish players like him, you just can't value guys like him with numbers alone.

Burrito, there are always frauds that try and copy softlaw. Never settle for a cheap immatation.

There are also only cheaper immitations of Tim Wakefield. He's one of a kind, and I don't understand why he's only used in blowouts from his pen role. He's money, in the clutch.

So you're saying you're a cheap imitation of yourself.

    Preaching to the choir.
