    Conspiracy Theories

How else do you explain the highly improbable series of events last night other than... THE FIX WAS IN?

Exhibit A: The Yankees spot the Rays a 7 run deficit, but then proceed to THROW THE GAME as if some players were betting on the outcome. 1919 Black Sox, anyone?

Exhibit B: Moments after the Rays tie the game, a crew of JOE TORRE UMPIRES suddenly decide it's safe to resume play in Baltimore during a monsoon. Coincidence?

Exhibit C: Tim Bogar sends Marco Scutaro home in the 8th but REFUSES to send Jacoby Ellsbury home in the 9th, possibly costing the Sox 2 runs. Has he secretly been offered a more prominent position in another organization, but "has to get fired" first?

Exhibit D: After retiring 2 batters quickly, Red Sox closer Jonathan Papelbon proceeds to serve up meatball after meatball until Buck Showalter's Orioles rallied. Does he already have the parameters for a 5 year deal in place to close in the Bronx?

Exhibit E: Former Rays player Carl Crawford DROPS a routine fly ball that would've sent the game into Extras. Did he text Evan Longoria moments later saying, "I DID MY PART"?

Plus, if you closely watch frames 284 through 292 of the Zapruder Film, you'll clearly see Carl Crawford on the Grassy Knoll.

The Yanks put their AA and AAA players in after 7, the Sox only looked that way.

    Re: Conspiracy Theories

Exhibit A may fit as a conspiracy theory!!!

But all other doesnt make sense.  Boston had to play the game where everyone were force to play again after the rain delay in the entire season.  Look at Yankees doing it like four times this year.  So therefore, if Boston had won the game by umpires calling the game, Rays would be bitching about it all day.  That is why they have to play by the rule.

For baserunning, Boston had three miscue baserunnings in that game.  So the third base coach had to play safe.

For Papelbon, he didnt throw meatball.  He kept throwing same pitch over and over again on the outer part of the plate, but somehow his pitch shifted to the left a bit from the outer part of the plate where the batter was able to hit it perfectly to the opposite field.  Had Papelbon do it again, he have mixed up pitches such as to pitch inside once a while where he could push off the batter.

For Crawford dropping the ball, I have never seen him making that kind of catch.  That is typical Crawford.  He does that the samething when he was playing in Tampa!!
