Crawbust makes the offense go. They were both outstanding, tonight

Reddick in CF, Kemp in RF, looks really good. Teenagers and most Red Sox fan will cry when Ted Williams plays the OF for another team. Should have passed on Crawford, for you Ellsbury lovers.

Team is 31-13 with CRAWBURY clicking.
You can figure out the rest by now.

The team needs all elements to thrive.

Kemp is a better OFer than Reddick.

"Clicking" ????  So when they don't click we lose? How is that worth mentioning?  Its like saying when Beckett and Lester dominate we are 25-2 and when they pitch poorly we are 5-22... real useful stat.

Crawford will be a beast for the stretch drive to win the  pennant.

Although kemp is a stud, the Sox will probably not give up the farm for him as the LAD would want for a year and a half.

Would love to have Kemp, who is having a career year, not at the expense of what we'd have to give up. I'm perfectly fine with Crawford/Ellsbury/Reddick on an every-day basis.

As for Ellsbury, his MLB rank is second in BA (.300), second in hits (97), sixth in OBP (.361), fifth in OPS (.813), seventh in RBI (40), second in stolen bases (25), fifth in putouts (207), fourth in assists (fifth), and tied for first for fewest errors (zero).

Wow.  Softy has set a new world's record in extrapolating from small data.  Based on one single inning--no more, no less--he has concluded that the entire Sox offense needs to be revamped.  And, while we're dumping Ellsbury and Crawford, we might as well dump Ortiz and Youkilis, who actually played in that game and contributed zilch.

So that leaves, let me see, Drew, a particular favorite of Softy's, in right, Reddick in center, McDonald in left, Sutton at 3B, Salty by himself catching (Tek is out of course--he too contributed nothing last night), AGon at 1B, Pedroia at 2B, Scutaro at SS, and, drum roll, please, Navarro as the DH because he's the last man standing.

Team is 31-13 with CRAWBURY clicking.

The team is under .500 when Crawbust is clicking.

    As for Ellsbury, see Kemp.

I see I must define the obvious:

As go CRAWBURY, so go the RedSox.
CRAWBURY tanked in April. So did the team.
CRAWBURY clicked in May. The team did also.
CRAWBURY was on fire in June, until CC went down. The team was on fire during the same exact period. The team has played .500 ball since CC went down to injury.

    Comprende?
