David Ortiz and Ice Cube have what in common?

Ortiz after running: 'It was a good day'   and   Ice Cube - It Was A Good Day (HD) - YouTube

That is about it. I do think there is better chance of Ice driving in 100 runs for the Sox this year than David.

Man there is not enough room in the DH hole to get enough playing time for this corps of walking wounded. After watching the Yankees have this problem last year the Red Sox decided to give it a try.

Ortiz - 115 games played, 21 homers, 70 ribbies.  Then you all can spend the winter telling us how high he ranked offensively based on his "averages" and how "if only he were healthy" arguments for hos 2014 value. Meanwhile the 2013 Red Sox finish 15 out.

    Good luck with that.

Yes, venom.  This is hate speech at its best. I also heard Don Rickles was racist by todays standard. Venom indeed.

Well, that the beauty of constant whining, isn't it?

If you happen to be right, you can continue to tell us all how foolish we were.

    If you're wrong, it's a just a smile and a "Boy, am I glad I was wrong!"

Takes a lot of intestinal fortitude to play both sides.

If the Sox should make the playoff, you'll understand if some of us decide to chuck your sorry azz off the bandwagon, right?

The other thing that Ortiz and Cube have in common is that they both owe money to Big Worm.

FourB's just because I dont care for 2 or 3 players on the team hardly makes me a non-fan. This is the first year in a long time where I can see this team is not very good. This is the first year in a long time I am not focussed on beating the Yankees for the title.

We will be lucky to stay out of the cellar.

every team in the ALE will be lucky to stay out of the cellar. if all teams in the ALE have generally the same amount of injuries the difference between first and last could be just a few games.

    I didn't say you weren't a fan.

You're a fan that needs to play both sides of the fence.
