you do realize that the article you pasted is written with a Red Sox slant? Correct? And that the national scouting services see these prospects in a different light? Correct?

And how often are the national services right?

Go back and look at Soxprospect's history and note how many of their top Sox rated players have had great success.

What does this even mean. What if he hits .260 with 40 HRs? What if he walks 200 times a year while hitting .260? You, sir, are an idiot.

I'd love a .260 out of Iglesias his first year.

He may be our best SS at .240 as well.

The problem is, even if he hits .260, his OBP will only be about .265

But he may go a long way towards keeping the opps OBP at .265 as well.

    Re: Depth at shortstop

Question if Iggy maintain OBP of .240. Can Sox afford to carry that type of offense at SS along with zero offensive production from C?
Imo, Theo has made his thoughts very clear, and he prefers an offensive SS that will play adequate defense. That begs the question, how long does it take for Xander and does his body type/size stay at SS as he matures.
