Yeah because 3 SS and 1 1B is a perfect way to build your roster.

    I totally agree with Softlaw.

Like scouts and officials from other teams have said "the Red Sox have no idea what they have here" when speaking about Iggy.

    Drew??  ...a waste of money.

I am rather excited to see Drew. I think you are going to get better than average defensive and a plus bat.  Carp is nice depth because he is a left and can play LF-1B. Both will be on the roster as earlier as Wednesday.

Never saw the need for Drew.  Carp is a bench bat and role-filler and not worth any ire..

The Red Sox have their starting SS, and I don't care if he needs a pinch hitter and has a .200 OBP! Pitching just got better!

Softy ,  SOFTY,  "SPOT ON", son !!!!

I saw the Drew signing as: "have to spend this 10M somewhere."

I'm all for keeping Iglesias, but haven't seen any defensive magic yet.  Not bad at the plate, however.

I think Drew, while maybe not a must sign, will wind up having a good impact on this team. At the very least, he'll be a good clubhouse guy and trade piece.

I'm rooting for Iggy to be respectable enough at the plate to stay in the lineup. But what will this board look like if Iggy goes 3-for-30 with 10Ks over the next 10 games and Drew is almost ready to rejoin the team. (Add 3-for-5 and that means he'd be hitting .171., which isn't going to cut it).

And I don't think Iggy got the ball out of the infield despite the three hits.

Anyone who didn't see the artist at SS's work, today, was truly a sleep. He makes plays look easy. The DP ball rifle relay throw from the pitcher, and every ball hit near him is an automatic out. Is he human? Yes, but is he the correct starting SS that will give pitchers confidence, you betcha!

Another  BINGO  !!!   The pitchers will all think that they have a shot  @ "CY YOUNG" !!!!
