As a Red Sox fan, I like A-Rod more than Lackey.
At least A-Rod can play good baseball and is an entertainer.
I'd rather pay Lackey's contract to Kevin Millar and have him entertain the clubhouse. -

SI: Implicated athletes still have plenty at stake in Galea plea deal.
Far away from the media storm hovering over the Roger Clemens perjury trial in Washington D.C., a Canadian doctor entered a Buffalo courthouse this afternoon and accepted a plea deal that might cause several prominent athletes to suffer anxious moments in the days and weeks ahead.

According to an article in this morning's USA Today, most of the charges against Galea were dropped in exchange for cooperation w/ Federal prosecutors in naming names of the patients he treated. Could A-Rod be one of them?

Anthony Galea's patient list includes 2011 All-Stars Alex Rodriguez, Jose Reyes and Carlos Beltran, as well as non-baseball luminaries like Tiger Woods, swimmer Dara Torres, sprinter Donovan Bailey and a number of NFL players.
Federal authorities may learn of many more prominent athletes who came under his care now that the Canadian doctor has pleaded guilty in federal court in Buffalo, N.Y., to bringing unapproved drugs into the United States, including human growth hormone.
As part of his plea deal, Galea agreed to cooperate with investigators and reveal the identities and treatments of his patients, the Associated Press reports. -

Which shows he has a tad bit more integrity than Papi who came up with some excuse about crazy vitamins. An excuse you and some others choose to believe ONLY because he is a member of the Red Sox. Had Papi been a member of the Yankees all these years and told the lie about crazy vitamins while in pinstripes you and others would say he is guilty as sin. Conveniently enough for you and others he was a member of the Red Sox when he got caught so his lame lie about crazy vitamins flies for you and others but not rational people with brains that function.
The fact is that Papi got caught using PED's and not crazy vitamins and no internet rumor or third party statement by some unknown source who may or may not have any real knowledge of the results will prove that it was crazy vitamins.....he was using (and maybe still is) PED's. Deal with it. -

"...he should just retire due to lack of production and embarrassment. He can't hit, he can't field and he can't run...........all those steroids and nothing to show for it, what a shame."

And, yet his offensive stats are almost identical to the guy playing 3B for the RS. How can that be if he should retire due to lack of production. nobody is saying Youkilis should retire. And, A-Rod is about 3 years older than the RS 3B.Perhaps you just don't know what your talking about? Yeah, that would seem to be the logical conclusion. -
