    Age is not the issue it's about expected production vs the terms and length of the deals...Napoli on a three year deal would be fine...Beltran on a two year deal with a club option based on games and performance would be fine...Anything longer is a gamble...

    Wrong. 3 players who (one being Ortiz) is a game away from havin to be  a full time DH is a big deal.

    Have we all forgotten the "log-jam at DH" scenario?

    Napoli's not old.

    What's the alternative? Trade away 4-5 top prospects for Stanton?
