I see where Ellsbury and Crawford are playing in the minors.  As the Sox fall further and further behind in the standings, I have to wonder, why aren't they playing in Boston right now?  I know this is an old school mentatlity, but aren't these guys at 80% worth more to the Sox right now?  I am amazed how long it takes the modern player to rehab and injury, and it never seems like they stay on the field once they return.  Ellsbury's injury had a 6-8 week timetable when it happened.  We must be going on 13 or 14 weeks by this time.  I just don't get it.  I understand protecting your investment, but it seems Boston (and really every team) really overdoes it.
