Maybe he meant Mariano Rivera , but misspoke. I have heard some talk that they might try to get Rivera because it is his last year.  Doubt that it will happen, but surely he will pitch in the game at some point, probably the 9th.

    Stabbed by Foulke.

If Pettite gets in, something is dreadfully wrong.

I would have thought they would said LeBron could start the All Star Game considering how ESPN can't go 2 seconds without mentioning his holiness King James.

My biggest problem with ESPN are the 8pm starting times for our Sunday game.

So all the folks on the left coast can enjoy Sunday night baseball.

Me to, TWM. I'm to the age now  where  staying up past 11 on a Sunday night is problematic.

It was also great to have ESPN show Joe Girardi being interviewed rather than Iglesias' home run, and then come back from the rain delay 2 batters after it resumed, opting to show Terry Francona press comments instead.

Not to mention the rain delay. All for ratings, they could have gotten the entire game in uninterrupted with an early start.

I missed the game for the same reasons had to be up early the next day.
