Estimated cost for Sox arbitartion players

I not sure where i read this but anyways:

Ells 8.1 mill. Salty 3.9 mill, Bailey 3.9 mill, Sweeney 1.8 mill, R. Hill 1.1 mill, Acevez 2.6 mill,

    Atchison 800 K, Bard 1.6 mill. , Breslow 2.4 mill, Miller 1.4 mill, and Morales 1.4 mill

The one in bold I would personally trade and sign Grilli for the Bull Pen.

The MLB team that are thinking about cleaning house this winter are the Mets. The Ike Davis rumour is the big rumour name for trades. Be interesting to see what the Mets want to trade Ike Davis. BC can start with these names above in bold to open up talks with the Mets. Most likely the Mets will respond with higher demand, but at least BC can start the talks.

Hill and Atch may be non-tendered.

Boston Globe columnist Peter Abraham today ran down the tender candidates:

I doubt the Met will trade Ike Davis for the Red Sox castoffs.

Too bad Sweeney wasn't traded this summer when we had it all worked out.

(softy wanted us to keep him)

Here are projected arbitration salaries from MLB Trade Rumors, which was fairly accurate in its projections last offseason:
