Fan asked to leave Brewers game because of Ryan Braun jersey

Here's a paragraph and link to read the whole article from espn.com:

    http://espn.go.com/mlb/story/_/id/9511475/milwaukee-brewers-fan-forced-cover-ryan-braun-fraud-jersey

Karen Eidem says security tapped her on the shoulder while she was standing with friends at the ballpark Wednesday night. Eidem had changed a couple letters on the back of her Brewers shirt to make it read "Fraud" instead of "Braun" because of the slugger's recent suspension.

Security told her the modified shirt violated the fan code of conduct and that she would have to change the shirt or leave the ballpark. Eidem turned the shirt inside out and stayed for the game.

Another security meathead, overstepping his bounds.

Yes, chase fans away because they are being more honest than the players they pay to see.

    Brilliant idea.

Good for the Brewers front office stepping up and taking the blame for what happened and admitting that this fan did nothing wrong. An invite to another game was extended to the woman and was also a smart move.

Your already going to lose a few fans because of this. probably not a good idea to chase the rest out the door.

My guess is that the security guard was a Brewers "fan-boy" who thinks that MLB wrongly persecuted poor Ryan and isn't going to let anyone speak badly of his idol.

And definite kudos to the Brewers organization for realizing the guard overstepped his bounds and trying to rectify the situation.

~ 6 years ago Baltimore security made me turn my "posada blows arod" tshirt inside out.  i thought it was funny at the time because it was a sox-orioles game.  and if there is one thing that sox fans and orioles fans can agree on it's that posada blows arod.....

If a NYY fan did that with an ARod jersey at YS, he/she would get 2 Free Legend Season tix.

    Fan Code of Conduct?

i think it's something along the lines of no heckling, reaching into the field of play, etc. but i've never seen a cod of conduct posted in a park.

Don't worry, it's Milwaukee, so you can still drink all the beer you want.

That is true... the Marketing company I worked for in Milwaukee allowed people to have beer at their desk after 4pm!

By any chance , do you know if they are hiring ?
