My 8-year-old used to call J.D. Drew "Rat Killer." I asked him why, and he said, "Well, every time he comes up to bat, you say, 'Here comes the rat killer.'"
Took me a while to figure it out ... I was saying "Here comes the rally killer." Either way, J.D. is known as "Rat Killer" in the Dobler household. -

I remember that too. Vida thought it was stupid, said he'd only do it if Finley would change HIS name to "True Finley." -

One of the great quotes ever:
