i watched a lot of baseball in my time - i always admired Cano for his play - i assume that players who get signed by the bigs and do well are hardworkign and talented...maybe not anymore...time will tell
You assume he is, Geo, no more. If you disagree, explain how you know he is clean.The comedy of the PED issue to me is the assumptions people make based on size, performance changes, where they played, etc. Of course we can all see smoking guns, but sometimes people - Koufax? - suddenly figure it out.
The tragedy to me is that while I don't assume cheating and never did, I don't assume innocence anymore...how can you?

If this is true, and it's far from confirmed, Cano's contract talks could get even more interesting.
Believing the twitter account of a Met's fan with no credentials who had less than 150 followers before he spread the rumor is like believing the homeless person who's yelling that the world is going to end tomorrow.
I think he is the same guy who broke the Melky story. Seems to have nailed that one. Still a rumor until it isn't, but he is not without credentials. -

Cano because of his closeness to Arod and the kid from San Diego along with Melky, Arod's workout buddies.
If it's true the timing couldn't be better (with Cano) unlike what happened after Arod stuck up the Yankees. Better to find out now than later.
Hard to believe with Granderson, a player rep no less, but we'll see soon enough.
Part of me would naturally liked to have stuck the NYY with a nice $175M/7 bill for tainted services.But the better part of me says that world is a better place if Cano doesn't get rewarded (assuming the rumors are true).

However, the blogger in question, from most reports I've read, did have the Cabrera story before anyone else last year.
When is the last time Heyan got anything right?You've never stated that you don't see what a big deal PEDs are, because everyone was doing them, or that pitchers and hitters were doing them, so it evens out?
