I totally agree with you, "Andrewmitch"
Youk needs to stay on this team. You don't trade away one of your best clutch hitters, and a guy that works the counts, helps to tire out the pitchers, and has a high OBP. A-Gon is the guy that I can't stand. He is soooo soft. He never gets a big hit. Even with his impressive numbers last season, he wilted against the good teams when it mattered most. I'd rather put Youk back at first and trade A-Gon. (But that's probably not feasible. )
It kills me that everyone wants Youk traded away for mid-level talent. That's just stupid.
Figure out a way to get Middlebrooks and Youk in the lineup, and this team will be much stronger. -

The fact is , Lester has regressed as a pitcher. He is simply not as good as he used to be. Don't know why , but the guy is just no longer a dominant pitcher. Hard to figure out. -

Lester's problems are of his own making. He gets behind and throws too many pitches. He's yanking the ball. Scott helped him by striking out on a bad pitch. Then Salty saved him a run with a nice pick. But Lester coughed up the cookie.
