Yip, the first pitch was the one. He never got another one that good again.

Don't worry bout that. He also has Beckett and ... heck just go down the roster. Mr. Negativity will always find something to b itch and complain about.

The first pitch often is the best one.  I know it goes against Sox philosophy, but I wish they'd swing at more first pitches.

Good move walking that guy...probably saves a run.  Now get this guy and it will be a smart move.

Uncle Atch gets the job done once again.  If only our starters were as effective.

Who ever would have thought that Scott Atchinson would be a more valuable pitcher than Jon Tyler Lester?  Unbelieable.  Good for Scott!  Although the bar IS pretty low.....

    LOL

    I still have 3.....

Crawford and Beckett due to their contracts - which = Theo
Lester because he is such an underachiever and needs to grow up

But you know some people will try and spin it

Perhaps with an aggregated stat from 2008 through 2009 - something insane like that... you wait - it'll be here soon......

[QUOTE]saw crawful on the bench tonight. his conscience doesn't seem to be bothering him. so far @ 30 million dollars for doing absolutely nothing. that's counting last year too. theo will always get the last laugh on that deal.

Mark my words, one day, and it could years or a decade from now, we are going to find out that Theo was getting kickbacks on those contracts.  And you will remember me.......

Not saying that I doubt you...but one thing to realize is that without the 100% backing of the ownership...he could not have made those deals. He didn't write the checks.

Pitching is not that complicated. Throw strikes , but not right down the middle. The starters need to watch how the relievers do it.

So Theo was able to convince Henry they were good deals.  You don't think Theo is a good Con-Man (Drew is a worth a tick above 14 million a year)?  That's what the whole kick-back thing is about......Totally worth it.  A suitcase full of hundreds of thousands in cash for each of Crawford, Lackey, Jenks, Beckett, Drew and Gonzalez....

It's almost like the entire staff is UPSIDE DOWN

Acthinson and Padilla and Aceves should be starters......

First this, next Price and Hellickson. The Sox could easily get swept in this series if they aren't real careful.

This game is over. TB bullpen throwing heat now. Lester never gave them a chance to win. Didn't he used to be good?
