Does Don know we can see the pitch count?  He loves to call it out.

Tough to come back against a guy like Price. Given his pitch count, he probably will not go more than six. If we can hold them down, might have a shot for a big inning versus their pen. About the only chance we have.

Aceves is a better pitcher than most of the guys we have been running out there as starters. He should be in the rotation. The argument that he is " too valuable " in the bullpen just does not make much sense. Lately he is being used to enter the game after kids like Weiland and Miller have put the team in a hole.  A good starter is much more valuable than a good long reliever.  He deserves the chance.

Jays up 5-1 w/ 2 on in the bottom of the 5th, a Yankee loss would ease the pain of this game but why is The Trop our kryptonite?

TB has struggled to score this year, except agasint  Miller.

Now for the Sox lineup to dig out of the early hole, while Aceves and company put a lid on TB scoring.

Only catch - Rays pitching has been awfully good.

Were within 5 runs, this is still doable.  Allowing Miller the opportunity to start the 3rd was a mistake in my book.

Might have been a mistake, Tcal, but that's one place Tito goes.

When I first came on already had someone posting against Miller like a sour maroon.  Miller's done well til tonight.

We can still do this.  In fact I'm calling a 10-8 win.

Allowing Miller to start was a mistake. Saw this coming when I saw the pitching matchup.

Doing it all with solo HR ...  whereas Zobrist hits one dinger that turns out to be a 4-bagger.

That's good though, shows Price can be scored on....
