Did you have something to offer?

    Does he ever?

    Wish I had a spare $500.

A worthy charity and a nice piece of memorabilia.

A baseball bat signed by Valentine and Dice-K would be worth less than a paper bag.   LOL

Bill, you have a point, but you also must remember that America is now the decadent people of the 60's "free love and a lot of vulgarity".

Ortiz will soon retire, let's not hammer too hard. Yes, the 2 year deal was a mistake, but you can't stop managment now.

    Softy,

How is the deal a mistake. The man is hitting well over .300, driving an an RBI per game and the best DH in MLB.

And I take exception to your comment about the decadent people of the 60s. My generation was the one that supported the move for Civil Rights, was against an unjust war that took the lives of all to many young Americans. Our methods might have been a bit extreme compared to other generations but we accomplished and supported many positive things in our country.

    Mellow

    Bill Aires ?????????
