Jackson should remain in RF.  Or they should use Aviles there and Lowrie at 3B.  I personally like this roster the rest of the way.

The roster, Carl Crawford aside, has never been the issue

We need Youk back and we need QS's and we need them NOW

Man, Crawful batting 2nd is very scary

Would it be that bad to have kept Coco Crisp?

Dare I say Cr-Awful makes Nancy Boy look like a great value?

This line-up the Yanks are putting out forces AJ to shut up and pitch or go away until next year.

Yanks have the "B" lineup out there, if the Sox can't win this one........

How could they bench that wonderful Josh Reddick, who's hitting .167 in his last 7 games, and is still sitting on 13 RBI since the break?

This has to be the worst corner OF's the Sox have put out there in my lifetime

How I long for Troy O'Leary and Damon Buford!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let me start off by saying I Love the Sox...
BUT, I really hope they do not make the play-offs. If they look embarrassing now, how bad will they look in the play-offs ? The only good thing about this double header is that the NFL is on at the same time. The Sox needed both games of this DH and I don't see them getting either, especially the first game with Wake out there. I will honestly say if they resign Wake next year I will have to take a year off from rooting for my team.

Red Sox are set in the OF with 300 million for Crawford, Jackson and Ellsbury, Reddick and Mac. Impressive MVP OF.

This game is just making a case for not bringing back Wake next year.  There is nobody to catch him.  He is a liability to the team for this if no other reason.

WAKE HAS BEEN A LIABILITY FOR SOME TIME NOW ! AND IT
YOU WANT TO TALK ABOUT LIABILITIES, HOW ABOUT LACKEY ?
SERIOUSLY...THIS TEAM IS JUST GOING THROUGH THE
MOTIONS. IN TODAY'S GAME [ SUN GAME 1 ], AGON HIT INTO
A DP AND DID NOT RUN DOWN TO FIRST...HE DID A HALF
HEARTED TROT AND NEARLY WALKED THE LAST FEW FEET.
IF I'M A MANAGER, I FINE HIM, HITTING .340 OR NOT !! THAT
IS THE PROBLEM WITH THE SOX. SOME OF THESE PLAYERS
NEED A KICK WHERE THE SUN DOESN'T SHINE. BUT, SADLY
FRANCONA AIN'T THE ONE TO DO IT. HE'S A TOUCHY, FEELY
MANAGER...THE OPPOSITE OF WHAT THE SOX NEED. THEY
NEED A KICK-BUTT MANAGER WHO WILL SCARE HELL OUT OF
THEM AND RAISE CAIN WITH THE LAZY ONES.
