Lots of empty seats at the Big A. Pathetic.  The Cardinals sold out today for a day game against Miami.  Fickle California fans.

Short lived lead. I think Dempster was actually lucky to get out of the first unscathed. He is leaving the ball up , and they have been all over it.

    Stabbed by Foulke.

The Angels have drawn 1.8 million so far.  Averaging 37,000 a game. Not too bad.

You could see that coming.  Dempster is fooling no one.

They should sell out  for Friday and Saturday night games against the Sox.

Angels got Trout with draft pick from Yanks signing Texiera.  LOL.  So glad he isn't a Yankee.

All teams lose games like these. I'm not happy about it obviously, but it's not the end of the world. The Red Sox will be okay. In a way, losses like this can be helpful in that they teach a team never to get too complacent. I think the Red Sox failed to buckle down with the 4 run lead in the 9th because they felt that going through the motions would be enough to get three outs.

Bad error on the easy game ending play.  Maybe 100 plays like that you might not even get 1 error.

Ideally, professionals would never presume victory until victory is officially secured. In practice, life doesn't work that way. When we anticipate victory, when we feel it's within our grasp, when there's an air of inevitability, we relax, we loosen up, we get over-confident, we expect things to take care of themselves. After tonight's loss, I don't think the Red Sox will feel that way anymore.
