Gomes sitting on bench two games in a row.  I think Bradley could have used a night off tonight after going through tough times at the plate and on the field and play Nava at LF and Gomes at DH.  Now it looks like JBJ is staying for the season with the Red Sox even when Ortiz comes back from the DL.  GO SOX!

Aceves will hit Adam Jones with a wicked fastball and both benches will clear.   LOL

That very well could happen. Especially if someone goes yard off him.

Aceves out for 4 starts for hitting batter- we call up AAA

Drew gets another concussion somewhere in the pile, out 2 months- call up Iggy ( which could very well be his last option ? ).

He would be very foolish to test Farrell's patience.  Would also be foolish to pull the hit by pitch routine.  Baltimore would go Canadian on him.

Iggy is eligible for 4 option years, so this would be his last option year

According to Iggy's stats he didn't play in the majors in 2010, but this link says he did.  Also says you need 20 days to count as an option year, which he didn't get in 2011.  Am I missing something?

I think the years in parentheses are just the years hes been in the organization. he might have 2 options left. Not quite sure now, to be honest.

LETS GO RED SOX!  Bad taste in the collective mouth after last night.  Machado giving the little shhhhhh to the Fenway crowd made me sick.  Only way to get rid of this is to take the series.  This Baltimore rivalry has turned into a gritty one.

Should probably just intentionally walk Davis for the duration, right?

Aceves made a nice fielding play. Gave up Solo HR. Then Two nice K's.
