Word around the industry is that the Red Sox will officially sign Dominican 3B Rafael Devers, the No. 3 international prospect, on Friday.

Questionable decision to start Wright and use Workman in the pen.  These knuckleballers can drive you crazy.

Can't imagine an uglier start to a game than this. Not a single ball put in play and down two already..... Having Wakefield flashbacks...and not the good ones...

There is no logical explanation. Workman is available, but Farrell wants him in the pen.  This is hard to watch.

This is a fiasco .... 4 passed balls by lavarnway? I am assuming he has caught Wright before?  What was Farrell thinking??

Perfect example of why you can never sleep on any team.  Farrell thought he could start the AAAA guys to rest Salty and the pitching.....should have gone with Workman.

At this rate they need to either take wright out or take Lavarnway out.
