its ashame, I have been watching games all year like this with this team, where the pitcher thows a great game and our guys cannot score runs.

Dodgers have pitchers warming up ahead of time.  Farrell should learn from that.

actually I think that's how farrell 1st came to boston

not that I'll ever bet on my memory but

    the way I remember it

tito was getting a lot of flack for warming guys up and not using them

sometimes more than once in a game

and ferrell was brought in mainly  to help tito in game BP management

as well being the Pitching coach

What a shame!  Lackey gives up three hits and walks no one.  One bad pitch and he loses.  This teamlax inconsistent offense has cost us several games since the all star break.  Tough losses for a team battling for the playoffs.

This is what happens when you do not pick up a descent hitter in the off season and plug the lineup with hopefulls and pretenders.

That's a wrap. No offense. Lackey pitched great.  Where is Bogaerts?

Lol, people are complaining about no run support tonight for Lackey, Nolasco had something to do w/ that. Tonight he was better than Lackey. Lackey made 1 mistake Nolasco made none.

Nolasco just shut us out. That simply should not happen. He is not a Verlander or a Price or a Hernandez. He is a mediocre junkballer. OUR TEAM had a lot to do with this loss. If we cannot get more than two runs against a mediocre junkballer we deserve to lose. And we do-a lot.

He's been a little better than mediocre this year.

Last 28 days his era is 2.08, and Opponents are hitting .223 against him. He hasn't had a bad year at all. One bad Month, June. He's been pretty consistent.

This was a great Pick-up by the Dodgers. That Front Office is starting to scare me. They used to be Chuckleheads.

Since the ASB we are barely a .500 team. It is the RED SOX who are mediocre. Nolasco is not exactly the kind of pitcher who should be able to shut out a good team....oh wait.....we are no longer a good team, are we.
