    Lowell Spinners

After 38 pitches and back to back walks, day is done for Buchholz. 2/3rds of an inning, three runs on one hit, three walks, three errors.

Hard to get anything positive out of that. Could it have been any worse ?

Sure, in american league parks...I agree. In this case, ahead of the pitcher would work.

Love to see Crawford the whiner & excuse maker go down wildly swinging with the feet dancing!!!!!

    AGAIN!  :)

What he did best for the Red Sox!

Thanks for reminding us why we treated your tender heart with kid gloves for so long, then finally realized that you were a sniveling complainer, faker, & pretender.

So nice to see the guy we came to __________  so much.  ;)

Does he even know what day it is?

C'mon, you know baseball better than that.

Of course there's something positive to get out of it. He was out there pitching. If you paid attention last year, when he came back from the injury it took him some starts for him to get his mechanics ironed out and trust he was healthy. Three walks in the outing tells me his mechanics were off like last year.

The only way for him to get back is simply get out there and pitch. It didn't really matter what he did this start. The next start will be more telling.

I don't know what anyone was expecting. He's missed nearly three months. He just needs to pitch against live competition.

Re: Game Thread 132: Red Sox at Dodgers

I hope Sox resign Salty, Ells and Drew.  Put Bogaerts at third, convert Middlebrooks to first and have Drew at short.  Then sign a full time LF with some pop and two good bullpen guys. Probably won't happen but they would be pretty good if it did.  What about JBJ you say?  That will work itself out as they say.
