Failure to sacrifice costs at least one run.

First and second, no outs in first, second and seventh=no runs.  That is pathetic!

    Lackey should sue for non-support.

Lackey did a great job for 7 innings, but had nothing to in this inning with over a hundred pitches...so now sox pretty much out of game...maybe tigers doing us favor reminding us that we still to win at least 14 mores games... this series and next three are not a cakewalk... By far!

this team is either feast or famine offensively... they rarely hit well against good pitching and today is another example of it.... I feel for Lackey because team never scores for him... he sure has pitched well this year...

This game is over.  No offense.  Didn't move runners.  No clutch hitting.

How many times have the Red Sox been shut out in the past two months.  I think they lead in the major league for most shut out in two months span.  Guess that is not surprising for today game.  They wake up go on fire for days, and then suddenly one game, they get shut out once every two weeks.

Well, good thing that the Sox have huge crushion on Tampa, Baltimore and Yankees.  Hopoefully Tampa continue to lose!!

Now I would have said, "wish Ellsbury and Victorino take a day off today to rest their injury as well Papi need a day off to figure out how to break his slump" cuz they lost today!!

We very rarely sacrifice, so when we really need one it shouldn't come as a surprise when we aren't able to execute.

And that is why you don't bet on BB.  It doesn't take much for a game that we lost 3-0 to be a game we won 6-1.

John 'lack of run support ' Lackey takes the loss again.  Come on, offense, give him his due, he has really been pitching well this season.
